The left lock's combination is NED, while the right lock's combination is MRG. It is locked by two separate Dial Locks that require the first letters of the names your co-workers as seen by their name plates. The High-Capacity Mag increases your clip to 24 rounds, and can be found at Leon's Desk in the West Office of the Police Station. It fires 9mm Handgun Ammo, and has a decent rate of fire with a standard clip size, and can be upgraded through Weapon Mods. The Matilda Handgun is Leon Kennedy's default weapon. Here you can save and swap out items - but also open the nearby locker for a Hip Pouch. Now head up to the next room and pull the lever to bring a catwalk into place and form a bridge leading to the Operator’s Room. Be sure to collect all the items here before taking the ladder up out of the Machinery Room.īefore heading up more stairs to the higher room, be sure to check the room you were first ambushed in to find a Green Herb, as well as Gunpowder in one of the lockers. A ladder will drop down in the middle of the room… someone must have triggered it. You may have to endure one more steam-filled ambush before you can deal enough damage to the eye to turn it red, at which point the monster will back away and topple over railing leaving you victorious - for now. Sometimes you can tell his human side will try and stop fighting and kneel down - but the most vulnerable part of him is the giant bulging eye that will occasionally appear. Keep running, and look for the deposits of items: A Red Herb and Handgun Ammo at the bottom left, a Green Herb and Handgun Ammo in the bottom right area, and a Grenade, Handgun Ammo, and Green Herb at the top area.Īfter escaping into the mist, the monster will eventually crash down from above in an attempt to ambush you - quickly do a 180 and run from him before he can lash out, and toss a grenade or flash grenade to stun him. Take a few shots, run, and do a quick-turn to repeat.Įventually, the steam from the machines will envelop the arena making it harder to see. When he starts chasing he’ll wildly swing away, meaning you’ll need to be running and gunning through the narrow passageways while making sure he doesn’t try and blindside you from another angle. Toss a quick grenade to stun him, and then unload with your weapons - targeting his face until a giant eye appears on his mutated arm, at which point you should focus fire on that when possible. This strange mutated man seems to be struggling with his transformation, but that won’t stop him from trying to bash your head in with his giant pipe. Head right around the catwalk to push a cabinet out of the way - only to be ambushed by the “thing” that was making those noises. Keep walking down the long corridors until you come to overlook a large Machinery Room. ![]() There will be the sounds of someone scuffling, but nothing you can see yet. Map of Underground Facility and All Available Items Return to the middle floor and head out onto the catwalk. ![]() Heading down the Underground Stairs, you’ll find a path halfway down, but you can also go to the bottom floor to find a Grenade stashed on the ground, a locked door, and a locked Special Weapons Case that looks fairly enticing. You can admire the model of the museum/station and other trinkets here before moving on. Thankfully this room has all the amenities, including a Typewriter, Item Box, Gunpowder, and Shotgun Shells.
